Keep lifecycle emails on the new regional time zones

Creator Platform now follows year-round offsets for America/Vancouver, America/Edmonton, America/Winnipeg and Africa/Casablanca. Choose the matching Time Zone so onboarding emails and time-of-day retention workflows stay aligned. Existing stand-in zones are not switched for you.

The regional offsets now in the product

Creator Platform now follows the current rules for four regional time zones. America/Vancouver stays on UTC-7 year-round, with no fall back on 1 November 2026. America/Edmonton follows permanent UTC-6 from 1 November 2026. America/Winnipeg follows permanent UTC-5 from 1 November 2026. Africa/Casablanca follows permanent UTC+0, in effect since 20 September 2026.

Those offsets are the bounded facts for these zones. They are not legal advice, and they do not prove that a customer's email already arrived at a given local hour.

Why it matters for onboarding and retention

If you send onboarding or other lifecycle email, or run a retention workflow that fires at a time of day, the send clock follows the time zone you select. Choosing the matching regional zone keeps those notifications aligned with customers in those regions.

If an account or contact still uses a U.S. stand-in such as US/Mountain or America/Los_Angeles, switch it to the matching regional zone. Existing stand-in zones, account settings and contacts are not changed automatically, because those U.S. zones remain valid for businesses in the United States.

Email campaigns and workflows can still override the account Time Zone. Check those feature-specific settings separately. This is not a universal saved setting, and it is not an agent operation.

Where to find it

In Creator Platform, open Settings and set Time Zone on the account. Select America/Vancouver, America/Edmonton, America/Winnipeg or Africa/Casablanca when that is the region you mean.

Wherever else you set a time zone for a contact, campaign or workflow, review that setting on its own. A change in one place does not rewrite the others.
