See the message as you build it
The WhatsApp editor brings your message, media, buttons and variables together with a live phone preview. You can check the layout before submitting a template for approval.
Media headers can now use a contact field or dynamic value. One approved message can deliver a different image, video or document to each recipient, useful for personalized campaign artwork, tickets and invoices. Each resolved media link must be publicly reachable; an empty or invalid link produces a clear send failure.
Give an offer a real deadline
Limited-time offers add a countdown inside WhatsApp, a copyable discount code and a link to your offer. Set the expiry for each campaign when you send, then reuse the approved template for the next promotion.
In Settings → WhatsApp → Templates, create a Marketing template with the Limited time offer type. Check the expiry before sending: a deadline that has already passed will appear as expired to the recipient.
Prepare your marketing delivery for what comes next
MM Lite is available for eligible WhatsApp accounts, with delivery optimization and conversion reporting for marketing messages. Start in Settings → WhatsApp and use the activation prompt to review the connection in your Meta account. Existing approved templates and campaigns carry over.
Meta's announced cutoff for marketing delivery through the Cloud API is 13 October 2027. Plan the switch ahead of that date. Service and utility messages continue through the Cloud API. These features require a connected WhatsApp account and the relevant Meta approvals; MM Lite activation is a separate step.
